A slightly shortened month of April, but the first month is in the books anyway.
So, before any of today's games are considered:
NL with the edge over the AL in IL play to date, 21-13 (138 Runs to 121).
I wouldn't draw any conclusions from this yet but the road is harder, particularly for WC chasers, for those who wind up in the stronger league.
AL East: NYY - TOR - TBR - BOS - BAL The division is 7 games over .500 as a group
AL Central: MIN - CLE - CHW - KCR - DET (- 15)
AL West: LAA - HOU [tie] SEA - OAK - TEX (Even)
NL East: NYM - MIA - PHI - ATL - WAS (+1)
NL Central: MIL - StL - PIT - CHC - CIN (- 13) Cincy alone is -15
NL West: SFG - LAD - SDP - COL - ARZ (+20) best div by far in baseball so far
Only ARZ is under .500 and they're just 10-12 (8 - 8 vs non-NYM teams)
SFG = 14 - 7 but 13 - 4 vs non-NYM teams)
