As of right now, Sunday night's game is scheduled for ESPN2 so check your DVR settings. There's an 'if necessary' hoops game (BOS/MIA) on the sked for the main channel.

Are Sciambi and Glanville (espn's radio team) really that bad? i havent listened to them, but Glanville at least writes well.



Meanwhile, I havent tuned in much to the new ESPN TV team of Ravech, Cone, and Perez either - can they really be as bad as past iterations of that booth like Arod and (super gag) Joe Morgan?

Love The Kinks and that song. I met Dave Davies briefly outside of my hometown theatre where he was performing. He was very pleasant and we shook hands but wouldn't let me take a selfie with him. Made a joke that his good jacket was at the tailor.

MLB should never allow its product to be moved to a lesser channel for another sport. I know that 2 is in almost as many households as the main channel but it shows that ESPN is prioritizing the NBA over MLB. Yet, MLB will do anything for a buck even if it makes itself look cheap.

I understand but to me, the optics are bad. A league that starts games at 11:30 AM for a minor streaming channel will do anything for a buck.

I know these streaming deals piss everyone off because local broadcasting is such a treat for fans but I also get why baseball likes them... and needs them to sorta raise the profile of the game nationally and allow them to do things like build up baseball in places internationally like the Premeir League, Formula 1, NBA etc... that's where Big Entertainment snd the $$$ that comes with it, is going

Brilliant. I don't know how a batter can take Diaz' 100-MPH off the handle of the bat and not cry from the vibes going up his arms. I know the gloves absorb a lot of that but I felt it from here. As a pitcher, you've got to right back up and in after that. Cruel, but that's the game.
