Starling Marte (groin) remains absent from the Mets' starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Braves. Marte will miss his third consecutive contest on Tuesday night due to left groin inflammation. The 33-year-old veteran outfielder will likely receive a few additional days off this week to rest and fully recover, but it sounds like he has a shot to get back into New York's lineup sometime in the near future. After Pete's feable swing at McHugh's slider away. You could just tell he was going to see it again on the 0-2 pitch. Not surprisingly, his swing the second time was no less feable than the first time. Completely fooled by the pitch. McHugh is dealing with cutter and a nasty slider.
