Keepers of the All-Time Roster have reason to celebrate, as R.J. Alvarez fills in the Mets' R.J. hole, overturning the controversial Darling vs. Macmillan decision of 1994, which ruled that the Ron Darling had never professionally gone by R.J., so the Mets could not claim to have fielded an R.J. on their all-time roster. Not anymore!
