It's baseball as it should be at Wrigley: a day game starting at 2:20 PM ET. Taijuan Walker faces Marcus Stroman (and please don't call him "old friend"). Stroman is making his second start since coming off the IL. On July 9, he started and went 4 innings, 0 ER, against the LAD. For the year, he is 2-5 with a 4.91 ERA. I feel like I need to confess something here. I've been so busy at work, that all I really retained from the Mets immediate future when I passed out from exhaustion on Wednesday, was that the Mets had a day game with the Cubs on Friday that Stroman was pitching, and that, still very busy, I was blissfully unaware that the Mets even had a game with the Cubs last night, until I picked up my phone to charge it overnight and saw a game thread on page 3. I don't think that sorta thing has ever happened to me in years

I couldn't attend the Saturday game because of the early start. I might have to strategize a way to get down to Game 2.
