In my mind, Ian Anderson is better than a 4.99 ERA and 1.50 WHIP. I guess he struggled early on, because his last few starts have been pretty solid with one outlier.

You know, I used to be on team "fuck ABBA" until our kid did "Mamma Mia" last year. Gave me a whole new appreciation. They had some really fantastic songs. Lots of dreck, yes. But some bops, too. Later in life I have quite come to like Abba. They wrote some great hooks Rain may be a challenge tonight. Ian Anderson has been terrible this season, of course he will be spot on for the Mets.

Vientos hasn't ben in the starting lineup for a few days but did hit a pinch hit homer a few games ago. Binghamton won the first game (end of a rain suspended game) 11-8. Bret Baty went 3-4 with 2 HR and 4 RBI. Game 2 just starting. Brooklyn leading 2-0 after 4. A Ramirez is 0-1 with a BB. He's hitting .287 since his promotion from low A ball. St. Lucie is down 7-4 in the 7th. Leadoff hitter Omar De Los Santos is 1-2 with a double and two stolen bases, giving him 55 SB on the season. Back to this game. Later

The Braves now have a ridiculous 25 HRs from their catchers. Td'A = 11, Contreras = 14 Not even sure the Yanx have that many. We have, what, two? oe: Yanx catchers = 16. 10 for Trevino, 6 for Higoshioka

The silver lining tonight is that with a double header tomorrow the Mets battled back and used Williams, Rodriguez, Hunter, and Givens. You won't miss those guys in a close game tomorrow. Diaz, Ottovino, May, Lugo did not pitch. The Braves had to use Minter, Iglesias, and Jansen (and Lee and McHugh) to hold the lead. Matzek and Stephens didn't pitch. (and Strider if he isnt starting this series?) I'd call that a moral victory when down 8-0 at least.
