Really rough start for Luzardo. Good movement at the beginning of the game, but not much control, and Mets batters did a good job letting him beat himself. Alonso now up with the bases juiced and Mattingly going to the pen.

Angel's call in he first was so bad, Max Scherzer got thrown out of the game - while he was in the dugout. The Mets broadcasters said "Angel Hernandez - now we understand" and "If you had Angel Hernandez and under 90 seconds(meaning how quickly it would take him to mess up), you won". Later
