With Deven Marrero debuting in blue and orange today, he becomes the latest nephew of a Met to play for the Mets.

    Matty Alou didn't play for the Mets. Neither did Felipe.



    Both played for the MFYs, though.

    I don't know why I got carried away with the Aloujis. It was late. Of course, Jesús was the lone Met from that generation, and Mel Rojas and Moisés were his nephewes.

    Felipe Alou was married four times and had numerous kids.

    40% of the league is related to him.
