Megill's first rehab appearance with Syracuse featured only one strikeout. He still got the side in order, on 10 pitches worth of efficiency, but this time he made his defense stay awake.

Pitched again yesterday here in town and had another strong inning. Seems like they are priming him for some fall bullpen help. Guillorme in the lineup last night for Syracuse as well

Joel Sherman's column (linked in the rules thread) names Megil as a pitcher who could be adversely affected by the new rules about the pitch clock, since he is a deliberate worker. Later
