He says he'd be open to a return to New York.

How do you feel about that?

I'd be concerned about his age and power drop off last year, but he still drove in runs.

Re: Let's Talk About Justin Turner

We already have crowded third base options with Escobar and Batey. If one of them are dealt for another need then I might consider it.

I keep forgetting that the DH is in effect, and they can get a hitter without giving him an actual position.

Def past his prime ... 38 y/o in a few weeks.

OPS: 945, 924, 881, 860, 832, 788 [2017 - 2022] seeing a pattern here?

Of course he'd consider a return to NY. He'd consider a job offer anywhere!

I'm not so sure I support a second Turner tenure.

I am OK with a second non-tendering.

Bob Aspromonte would also be open to returning to the Mets, especially if the Mets paid him the usual oodles of millions that veterans typically make.

I'd rather resign Robinson Cano.

This is the best argument against it.

"Let's Talk About Justin Turner" was not one of Salt 'n' Pepa's most fondly recalled singles.
