lol. I think the Mets thought he was hot shit too. Came with great numbers from Minnesota, numbers got a little worse with us then he got hurt.

I kinda felt for the guy. He wore his difficulties on his sleeve and when he wasn't right, it really felt like it was wrecking him. May Trevor have a good go of it in Oakland.

Seemed like a good guy.

He becomes the highest-paid Athletic so he might be traded at the deadline.

The Mets will see him in April.

Sincerely tried to relate to critical Mets fans through whichever media he pursued. Those can be dicey waters.

Any jam he worked his way out of felt like a surprise. Probably wasn't wholly physically sound the whole time he was here.

Re: Memories of Trevor May

Such a strange offseason when the first five guys in the Mets pen all hit free agency at once.

I remember him for stripping 65 off of Robert Gsellman's back. Who the heck fights to wear number 65? Even offensive linemen don't get that animated over the number.

For a name bullpenner brought in on a multi-year deal, he didn't seem to get the game in his hands all that much.

Good guy, not-so-good player. I always cringed when he came in. Seeya.

He always appeared to be laboring on the mound. He just never seemed quite right last season.
