I am thankful for all you Mets lovin sumbitches out there ! Eat some turkey and drink some craft beer and take a nap !

My family and I are all doing a Turkey Trot this morning and then we'll have some down time before driving out to my wife's uncle's house, about an hour southeast of here, for dinner with ~25 or so of my in-laws.

Since Lefty Jr has to work on Friday, this year we're bringing Thanksgiving to him, cramming 9 of us into his apartment. He was prepared with plenty of Senate Lager from Right Proper Brewing in DC. He knows the old man well.

Happy Tryptophan Coma Day to you all!

Happy Thanksgiving! Lots of relatives in town today, and three of us ran in a Turkey Trot. I was a little rusty, I shaved four minutes off last year's time -- but still pretty slow! But it's a fun course through downtown and past President Ford.
