Met fans and Yankee fans

Fred and Barney are Met fans. Mr. Slate (corporate box) and Joe Rockhead (YES) are Yankee fans. Toby Belch and Andrew Aguecheek are Yankee fans. Feste hangs with them but he's a Met fan. Malvolio is unforntuantely a Met fan but pays them no mind unless they're winning, and will swing over to the Yankee camp on occasion in order to curry favor. Dr. Watson is probably a Met fan. Inspector Lestrade is a Yankee fan. Holmes is a tough nut. To the extent that he would care about baseball, I'm guessing he'd go off the board and find the Cleveland Indians fascinating. Easy one: Buddy Love, Yankee fan. Julus Kelp (or Sherman Klump if you will), Met fan.

I don't know. George may have a realist's perspective driving him toward the Yankees, but once he sees all the Yankee autographs and memoaobilia in Curly's office, I think he'd conclude that it's just a cruel old world and be done with romantic distractions like baseball.

Hamlet = Met fan but is considering switching to Red Sox. Claudius and Polonius = Yankee fans Ophelia = Met fan Rosencrantz & Guildenstern = Cubs fans

Yup, yup, yup, and yups. I think the gravediggers may be Brooklyn Dodger and New York Giant fans.

Archie and Reggie may be enemies, but they're both players and they're both Yankee fans and they're both scheming to smooch Veronica in the Lodge family box. Betty and Dilton are Riverdale's biggest Met fans. They'll someday hook up after a game, after which Archie will again wake up to Betty's virtues, but only briefly before again pursuing the elusive hart that is Veronica Lodge. It's sordid and disgusting. The best I can suss out about Jughead is that he takes in the occasional hockey game. All this is true of the parallel characters in the Saved by the Bell universe also.
