Mets ebay bauble of the day...

Sorry I couldn't find the original thread so I started this one. A baseball signed by several members of the '86 team. Noticeably missing are Keith Hernandez, Darryl Strawberry, Bob Ojeda, wally Backman, Davey Johnson among others. The 1986 team is so storied that a ball missing a few signatures would be particularly cool if there were a semi-plausible story attached to their absence. Like if it was missing Ron Darling, Tim Teufel, Bob Ojeda and Rick Aguilera because they were all detained in Houston the night the ball went around.

When he placed that bid, however, it registers as only as high as needed to take over as "high bidder." Each time someone else bids, his bid increases so that he remains the high bidder. (Unless/until someone goes over his "maximum bid.")
