The Mets are certainly getting to be rather fond of extra innings. Fine with me as long as we keep winning them. The Mets pitching continues to be stellar. Billy Wagner did his Looper impersonation and gave up two runs in the ninth inning which cost Pedro his sixth victory of the season in as many starts. Luckily, his bullpen brethren Duaner Sanchez and Chad Bradford were up to the task and held the Pirates scorless until the Mets offense could win it. Delgado hit a walk off home run leading off the home half of the 12th inning. Who was that wearing #10 and what did he do with Endy Chavez? Endy Chavez had a great game that he won't soon forget.
A fine win deserves a fine Pennsylvania brew for our POTG. So tonight a 12 pack of Yuengling Lager
