I am working tomorrow, as my employer (based out of Sweden and not the U.S.) does not have it on the holiday calendar. Wife and kids are all off. I expect it to be quiet at work since many or most of our customers will also have the day off

Saab had cool designs back in the day, the big wheels dated to their origin as an aircraft maker. But zsaabs also had a reputation as troublesome cars to repair. My old boss had one and would only trust one mechanic in the city to fix it

Volvos and Saabs were always expensive to maintain. Puddy was the go-to guy in Manhattan. Wonder if your boss used him.

I hadn't realized that Saab was no longer putting out autos. Didn't Ove* think -- not think, Know! -- that Saabs were superior to Volvos? (or was it the other way around?) * character in Fredrick Backman novel and model for current Tom Hanks movie

According to Car and Driver, although Saab and Volvo came from Sweden , neither were particularly good in the snow. Saab continues to design and produce some of the best fighter aircraft in the world and Volvo never got into that business. Later
