I think the Mets hat thing everywhere is kinda cool to remind people baseball season is nigh and also maybe, hopefully a bunch of NYers asking themselves "why am I seeing so many damn Mets hats today?" Feels like Amazin Day should maybe have more amazin stuff though? I'm not sure what, maybe roping in ex-players around the city to interact with fans as themselves or undercover? Throw some big event in a park (how's the weather?) that you could tie-in with dog adoption. Get your picture taken re-creating Endy Chavez's famous catch!
