Yeah, Danny Tanner was more of a newsmagazine host. Not really the same beast. He should be on the outside looking in. Les Nessman is a legend, but he was discluded as he worked in a different medium, and he was more of a news break guy than an anchor.

Brockman shoots up from number seven to maybe number three for me just based on his one line when he's introduced ringside at the big Homer Simpson/Drederick Tatum fight. He gets booed and responds by putting a hand to his ear as if he's getting a late breaking story from his producer, and he yells to the crowd, "This just in ... go to Hell!" Still funny.
