Our pitchers are not aging well for now. Anyone's guess when Verlander straps it on He said "late April" but that's just what he said. There's a day off on Thursday so they can use that to IL Carrasco, add someone (Baty?), and then send someone down when JV returns.

So with Escobar now batting lefty because of the Miami pitching change, I'm shocked that he wasnt required to switch to a jersey with the Presbyterian patch on the right sleeve.

Used to be the uniforms hadda be uniform. You couldnt have the same patch on different sleeves for different players. But you could get people to do anything, anything, for money.

Gary immediately shot back with words to the effect of: "Which fans? What percentage? How many?" and, in doing so, got Keith to retract his statement and admit that it's really just MLB claiming this is true and we're supposed to take their word for it that there's some kind of proof backing this up and not just a continuation of Party line pr going back to Bud Selig's oft-repeated mantra that inter-league play was a "gift to the fans". Gary then went on to frame it as merely the next step in the plan to dismantle the leagues in favor of regional realignment.

"We took a poll and this is what the fans wanted...." And it was usually such an utter and obvious horseshit fabricated pretext. We took a poll and the fans wanted NY Presbyterian patches bigger than your head. But not so red. A man who owns half of the universe's money supply and still, you can get him to ruin the Mets uniforms for some money.
