The visiting team doesn't necessarily get the rights to broadcast ceremonial stuff that the home team is doing, and even with the Mets angle, it's probably not the programming your standard SNY viewer wants to see wire-to-wire. They'll probably show a clip or two later in the game.

Supposedly my buddy Don was telling me that a local affiliate does broadcast these WPIX games, but I didn't think to try ahead of time to get my HD antenna situated, and then it would not work and I flipped over to a live stream online.

Escobar hasn't hit his weight this year, but his defense remains solid. Nice play on a contact play with the infield in to cut down the potential tying run at the plate. At the end of 6, it is still 2-1 Mets.

I was thinking that Lindor should look for the ball up, because Jackson was a breaking ball pitcher who couldn't afford to bounce a curve in the dirt. Sure enough, he spiked a fastball.
