Peterson needs to be in someone else's minor league system but the Mets are stuck with him in the rotation for at least another two weeks.

Unless they come back, Peterson should pitch all 9. There's no reason to waste a reliever when they're playing down one player.

    Peterson was probably instructed to intentionally allow six runs in less than two innings. Because, wasn't the Mets goal to take two of three from the Giants?

    There had to be a template for booth guys when they talk about players , Conforto has apparently reset himself, it was the only way Karros says , he's reinvigorated too .. anyway, everyone's a great guy

    Wilmer Flores takes Peterson deep to make it 7-2 Giants through 5. Barring a a few runs from the Mets, I would keep trotting Peterson out there for another inning or two. He needs to take one for the team and give the bullpen a light work day.
