Wonder what these Mets would look like if the Wilpons still owned them? They wouldn't have won 101 games last year. Diaz would be some other team's heartbreak right now. No Lindor. But probably Gimenez. No Nimmo. They woulda probably traded deGrom knowing there was no way they were gonna re-sign him. Wonder what they would've gotten for a break-the-Nintendo cheat code pitcher who's hurt more often than not? Something. Maybe they even put Alonso on the market? No old-timer's games. No scoreboard improvement. Maybe even more scoreboard ads and even less scoreboard.
