what we should be seeing right now is Alonso/Baty/Alvarez; at least until the invisible corner OFers start to protect Alonso a little bit

That would be cool, but even if Buck accidentally found the Crane Pool forum when googling, what's the chance that he would understand what a Crane Pool was in relation to the Mets? He would probably think that it's about birds

Not to say it wasn't fun to suddenly have our best hitter batting ninth, but no, that was never going to be the long-term situation.

Alvarez has more home runs this year than Mets catchers did in all of last season.
