I swear that I had no idea how gorgeous 1960s NFL cards could be. Super Bowl champion. Super Bowl champion. Scored the first sudden-death OT touchdown in NFL history. Was working as a schoolteacher and was discovered by Weeb Ewbank when the Colts needed a place to practice for a West Coast game and convinced Ewbank to give him a tryout.

You're making these tough. I liked Baird, but had to vote for Boozer. OE: IIRC, I saw Baird fumble a punt that led to an opponent's (Denver?) touchdown at the Polo Grounds. But he was a really good defensive back. Later
