Led the league twice in all-purpose yards, and

three times in kick-return yards. Ended his career

as the Jets' all–time leader in punt returns, punt–

return yardage, kickoff returns and kickoff–return

ardage.
One-time second-team all-pro, one-time Pro-

Bowler. Led team in interceptions in 1983 and

made 10 tackles in wipeout playoff victory over

Bengals the previous season.
Is the founder and director of Heroes & Cool Kids,

a non-profit dedicated to mentoring New Jersey

middle-schoolers and high-schoolers.
As a Penn State linebacker, respected

personage, and juvenile probation officer after

his career, he was in the awkward position of

being called as a character witness on behalf

of Jerry Sandusky.
