Buck Showalter said the Mets were snakebit last night. Time to bite back. Verlander versus Strider versus “I don't even KNOW her!” retorts. First pitch scheduled for 7:20, which is distinctly Bravesian and therefore distinctively irritating.

Álvarez' 2023 debut at DH, I believe. Vientos' MLB starting debut at first. He played a single inning there in the blowout over the Cubs two weeks ago.

Verlander has been alternating very good and very bad starts Tonight would be the bad one I do like the lineup. Narvaez Alvarez and Vientos in together suits me You can't sit Jeff but he is looking like the 2021 version Every night they all have the chance to get hot at the same time
