Keith gets his wish — which isn't necessarily mine — to see Marte back in the two-hole, but they've got to keep moving things around. I'm curious in seeing Álvarez in the middle of the lineup for once.

Verlander's pitch count still a bit high (84 thru 5) but that's a bunch lower than where it looked like it was heading after the first two frames.

I remember when there was only one camera - press level directly behind home plate. You really saw if a pitch was on the corner instead of using a computer drawn flat box.

I went to bed too after that bizzarro dish theft. Missed the biggest win of the month. Feels like the only win of the month. And no Mets Fast Forward on DVR. And it's an off day. Ten games out, can't even sniff .500 yet...

You guys missed a weird game. I know it's tough to watch when the team has been subverting itself, but there were some bold performances too. Nimmo ends up being the hero after nearly blowing two games in a row. Plus, the Mets somehow out-bullpenned the Yankees, if only just. The pulled off only their third intentional walk of the year, and got away with it, even though they sort of had to talk themselves into it. Also no homeruns, after three homers the night before.

I was doing some POTG game voting before and noticed that Escobar is noted for 2 R. I checked another box score and it also had 2 R. How did he do that yet seemingly not reaching base? I can probably figure out something but rather go the lazy route first and just ask here.
