Why do I have the feeling that the Cards, with ONE losing season in the 21st century (78-84 in 2007), are going to suddenly 'wake up' from their current 27-42 record this weekend?

Miles Mikolas has been in the majors, pitching for three different teams since 2012, and I had to look him up. I'd never heard of (or maybe never paid attention to) him before. Later

The rain was only supposed to last a few hours according to local news but now it seems it's late or slowed it's progress. I don't know why I watch the weather, they're almost always wrong.
