With Maldonado up Gary mentioned that he has hit 100 home runs and has homered against all 30 MLB teams , only three other players have done that , Gary never got around to saying who they are , any guesses?

I'm guessing that the other few have to have a lot more total HRs than Maldonado. It's the 30/100 thing that makes it so unusual.

Keith was correct, btw, about busting up Koosman's shutout with an 8th inning solo HR in what would be Kooz's 20th win in 1976. I looked it up because ballplayers are often mistaken in recalling details from their careers, but Keef had that one down cold.

That 4th Houston run sukked. Cheap hit, then with all those opportunities to run he doesn't do it until a the batter hits a grounder so no force or DP. He then comes in on another cheap hit. That run looking large at the moment.

The pitcher has the advantage on every single at bat. If a batter's gonna decide to take a pitch before it's even thrown, it should be on a batter's count, like 3-0 or 3-1 --- not on the first pitch.
