I like how Senga isn't sure which ump to walk towards, and kind of wanders around the infield after the inning looking for someone to check his fingers for stickiness.

I'd go with a Kv designation if scoring. Also, it just occurred to me that a pitcher could have a better than immaculate inning, one where he retires the side on Less Than 9 pitches with help from a time clock transgression.

Canha batting for himself, because he might get up again, and the Brews have one more lefty in their pen. Mendick isn't as much a concern. Good call by Buck on both counts, as Canny muscles a hit but McNeil grounds out pinch-hitting.

As far as I could tell from my initially internetting, the guy never got a zoology degree. He was just really into snakes, and he got a gig when he was young cleaning out the reptile house, and worked his way up to big-shot zoo director.

If you start a swinging motion, but your bat isn't really in the hitting zone, and you get hit in the hands, there's no way you're going to be able to halt the bat's forward motion. But that shouldn't really make it a swing, I think. I think they got the right call there.

Two outs/no one on and it results in two more runs (and counting) while we fuck up yet another bases-loaded/no out situation. The bad call didn't help, but neither did two hits, a BB, and an HBP.

I'm now turning off fairly close games where they're losing because they seem fully incapable of coming back from a deficit. As soon as the Brew crew went up 5-2 I went to bed.
