Because all I do is read about lower league soccer, I learned today that Tommy Pham is an investor in USL Championship team Loudoun United (USA, second tier). It's an interesting investment to say the least. Loudoun used to be affiliated with MLS side DC United and are currently 24th out of 26th in attendance in the USL, drawing only about 2,600 per match. Not sure what the big vision on this side hustle is so SHOW US THE PLAN PHAM!!!!
I know there are plenty of dudes with with different endorsement deals (Lindor, New Balance) but this made me wonder how dudes invest (or throw away on lower league soccer teams) the millions they've already made. If you see a news story about Mark Canha buying a bodega, Francisco Alvarez's rare stamp collection, or Brandon Nimmo's prized thoroughbred, post it here!
