Et You Tube, Brute?

SNY announcing that effective July 1 YouTube TV will no longer carry their channel. Looks like I'll be bouncing over to Hulu + Live TV which is comparably priced and not in a pissing content with my team's channel.

Yeah, SNY is the only reason I have Youtube TV in the first place.

Yeah I've grown more annoyed at a recent update to their DVR interface. It's clunky as hell now. I won't miss it. Plus they've essentially doubled the cost in the last 3-4 years since I signed up. So they can eat shit

We've switched from YouTube TV to Hulu Live which costs essentially the same $70 per month but still carries SNY. We figured out after the fact that this tier includes commercials during DVR'd content that cannot be skipped, and that the commercial free tier actually is $82 per month. So that sucks a big butt.

I'm on Hulu live now too. Beyond the obvious positive of having SNY, it also includes (or discounts) the Disney / ESPN bundle I had been paying for separately, so there's that too. Whenever I'm watching DVR Mets games I'm able to skip commercials at will, I'm pretty sure.

I don't know how major sports expect to survive I'm now a big NFL fan but that seems fleeting at this point too

Hulu is ten times worse than YouTube TV, SNY notwithstanding. Saw that price hike message today. Grrrr
