Jets non-scab game for a decade, despite

moving among three different positions.
Five-time Pro-Bowler (2008–2011, 2015).

Three-time First-Team All-Pro. Finished second

in Defensive Player of the Year voting (2009).

NFL 2010s All-Decade Team. New York Jets

Ring of Honor.
Died within a day or so of fellow offensive

lineman Marvin Powell, and the news of their

deaths broke at the same time.
In the 2003 Pennsylvania Interscholastic

Athletic Association Class AA State

Championship, he led Aliquippa to a come-

from-behind 32–27 win over Northern Lehigh

by scoring five (!) touchdowns, including three

rushing, one on a punt return, another on the

return of a blocked field goal attempt. He also

completed a 39-yard pass and had a reception

and an interception in the game.
