So I guess the death toll from the Titanic sinking needs to be increased by another five souls.

And not that those folks are going to be any less dead, but "catastrophic implosion/explosion" is probably a better way to go than from some combo of suffocation / hypothermia / thirst / starvation.

This was a lot sadder.

These were very rich people (seats were $250,000 a pop) who chose to do something dangerous, with a company with a sketchy history of safety violations. Don't get me wrong, no one deserves to die, but I get more worked up about some tragedies than others.

Doesn't matter what they paid. They didn't deserve to die for their interests.

Conservatives are blaming the implosion of the submersible on "wokeness".

“Let that sink in. They died because the woke CEO said he wouldn't hire 50 year-old white men who knew how to command submarines and would rather train others.”

They are disgusting.

I can think of a few more people who belong at the bottom of the ocean.

Couldn't happen.
