Two-time Pro-Bowler (1978, 1982). First-

team All-Pro (1978). Second in voting for AP

Offensive RoY (1977). Twice led league in

yards per reception (1977–1978). Led

league in receiving yards (1978). Twice

cleared 1,000 receiving yards (1978, 1986).

Leads all Jets qualifiers ever in yards/reception.

Second all-time Jet in receiving yards and

receiving touchdowns. Jets Ring of Honor

(2012).
Pro-Bowler (2005). AP Defensive Rookie of

the Year (2004). Led league in combined

and solo tackles (2005). Made 18 tackles

and seven assists, along with a sack, in

three Jets playoff games. Seventeenth all-

time in total tackles for the franchise,

despite his relatively short tenure.
Was selected by the Jets under the advice of

Connie Carlberg, the first professional female

scout in NFL history.
Founded a charter school in Haiti following

the 2010 earthquake.
