I'm kinda thinking a sinkerballer would be a good day to sit Vogelbach, who is mashing the high pitch but doing nothing (often not even moving his bat) with anything below the waist. Maybe put McNeil at DH and start Guillorme at second.

During the 23 games of 'The Swoon' the Mets have scored 20 runs from the 7th inning on. That by itself suxx enough (< 1 R avg = < 3/G)

But wait, it gets worse: 14 of those 20 runs came in just three games, games that were already lopsided one way or the other!

So late in close games, the Mets are scoring at a rate that would net them barely one run per game.
