Disappointed that this pitcher, Coulombe, pronounces his name Cool-lome rather than Column-Bee because it would be cool if Column-Bee could relieve current ChiSox reliever Alex Colome [Column-Ay] during a game.

Given ar least a dozen opportunities to throw a runner out on the bases over the last few days (at all four bases) the Mets have succeeded in throwing out None of them.

It is going to be a long rest of the season. It appears that victories will be a rare commodity (even rarer than April to July).

I put it on late, they were losing, as I listened they gave up more runs, and I switched it off. That may be the 2023 season in a nutshell.

They were in the game for about 10 seconds there. You missed it. It was a no-win situation there in the middle innings. The Mets seemed doomed if they pulled Megill, and ultimately were doomed for leaving him in.
