A low pitch count inning in the 1st for Kodai but then long ones in 2nd & 3rd and he's now up around 50 thru 3 Nice job limiting the damage though and isn't getting much help from the defense.

I quickly watched the end on Mets Fast Forward. I didn't realize that the eephus pitch* was really something. I guess I thought it was just some silly slang word used by broadcasters to describe a garbage pitch or something. * - link to eephus pitch wiki entry
