FOX has the night game on Saturday and ESPN grabbed the Sunday tilt. Bet they're happy they got those Pennant chase games locked up early.

Mets need to make Morton pay for walking the ballpark like this. Chasing this guy early could serve the whole series.

It helps when not a single Met has a well hit ball. 8 LOB, 0/7 w/RISP, and virtually every out has been a lazy ass FO (except for the soul crushing GIDP of course).

The GiDP is definitely a questionable offensive strategy. I know that batting sluggers second is supposed to be a scientifically proven approach, but it's just been Double Play City for the Mets.

The Vogelbach Line-Out to RF to end the 7th and McNeil's to CF opening the 5th were the only hard hit NYM outs tonight, and only JMcN's made the ATL defense work. Thru 7 it's those 2 line outs plus 6 Ks, 6 OF FOs, 3 IF POs, and 2 GiDPs

Amazing how you can give up 7 runs (6 earned) in 9 innings and yet have the pitching not be the worst part of their showing tonight. The offensive display was much worse than the pitchers and I'm not even sure that the defense wasn't also worse.
