Well, they got one on a single there, and the umpire didn't stop the game, so I think it must be technically allowed.

Tonight's 1/4 w/RiSP isn't much but it's at least an improvement on the 1/23 (Vogelbach's totally meaningless HR) over the first three games of the series.

I checked and ... nope and very much nope. The question was "On the list of most MLB games played, three of the top ten played for the Mets — who are they?" Mays (ninth) and Henderson (fourth) are correct. The third guy is neither Franco (duh) nor Orosco (big duh).

So we won one of four which ain't great but it's something, especially since the Pythagorean projection based on our RS v RA suggests that we should have gone 0-9 during the four game series.

Buck has sat down Alvarez on recent nationally televised games. (IIRC its the last two or three in a row) If he's going to be considered for ROY, I would think he needs more national exposure. Let the announcers tell the country that he's leading all catchers in HR. Later
