Joey Lucchesi is coming off two abbreviated rehab starts with Brooklyn. It would be a rough ask to send him out there without an appearance or two at Syracuse first.

Tonight is the lone 8:15 start in the series. Yesterday was moved up for network TV and Saturday's game is moved up an hour as well, followed by a day game Sunday.

Masyn is one of their top prospects It's a lot easier to watch the Mets now with so much less on the line

While discussing shortstops with super arms, José Oquendo might well be a part of the conversation. I like the precedent José getting into the Cardinal HoF when much of his legacy is as a coach. It helps Rube Walker's cause.

It's interesting to be here for Masyn Winn's debut. This Cardinal team isn't as bad as their record suggests, but they certainly have lacked a certain Ke'Bryan factor.
