Carrasco is the least fun pitcher to watch. Playing behind him must be awful. Shades of Steve Trachsel, but with less positive results.

I think of Dakota as a feminine name. I think I have a DVD here some- wheres titled Dakota Does Daytona. Hot stuff!

Carrasco did alright, but I think the heat certainly got to him.

On the other hand, it's nice to see Carrasco still in the dugout and engaged in the game after the Mets escape the bottom of the previous inning.

I don't know that eyeblack does anything, but strange to see Francisco Álvarez out there without it in a bright, sunny day game.

Nice bunt attempt by Ortega, but his hook slide — seemingly meant to avoid a potential tag — allowed an easier exchange from the pitcher to first.

I'm OK with that send. You wouldn't do that in the 9th but 'stealing' an extra run there vs hoping for another two-out hit is a worthwhile gamble, IMO, and he's likely safe on anything other than a perfect throw.
