Mickey Moniak was a 2016 first round pick for the Phillies He debuted against the Mets in 2020 and up until this season has had little MLB success He was traded to the Angels for Noah Syndergaard in 2022 He is enjoying a breakout season for the Halos that I believe few saw coming

Considering that the Mets have scored a total of three runs in the last three games plus (and so far tonight have hit one fair ball thru five batters) overcoming a five run deficit doesn't sound like a good bet.

This team is basically embarrassing itself on almost a daily basis and that the Angels subsequently messed the play that the Mets initially fucked up doesn't make that go away.

The Mets haven't scored two runs tonight they were handed two runs. Moving runners the usual way (like with those hit things that other teams get) isn't part of their plan apparently.

And their best two (that's relative) relievers were used. Perish the thought that they'll be in a close game, maybe even with a, dare I say it, lead today? They each pitched a scoreless inning. Will they be able to repeat it? Carrasco is a bullpen burner. He's got to go. Later

Buck has to fucking go. I'm sick of seeing only a scowl from him when one of our players gets plunked. Put someone from the opposing team on their ass. It was obvious Ron was unable to say what he really wanted to say.
