Tuesday Night Mets enduring their third August game this year. The schedule this year was just brutal. We'll be way up behind home plate in 515. Quintana is pitching.

The last FOUR hitters in the lineup are under the Mendoza Line. We need some replacement players for our replacement players. If I want to see some scoring action, they make me want to watch a soccer match. Later

I'll start worrying about what the fill-in guys at the bottom of the line are doing (guys who don't have enough PT to even have meaningful stats) just as soon as someone in the top half of the lineup has something even approaching am important hit.

The bottom third of the lineup is a lusty 2-for-9, they're pretty tough to face as a fan. I love the bunt attempt, McNutter, but probably not with two out and the bases empty.
