The 'Backs reached the post-season faster than any expansion team in history before being taken down by the Mets and a juiced-up Todd Pratt. Buck was rewarded by being fired on the eve of Arizona's first and only championship. I doubt he has payback on his mind. It's been a while. But if you find yourself in the vicinity of Buck and don't sense there is enough fire in his belly, please feel free to remind him.

Good, he should AZ shortstop Jordan Lawlar is #10 on the MLB pipeline rankings They are looking to him to become one of the faces of the franchise sooner rather than later, teaming with Corbin Carroll He is 1-13 to start his career whiffing seven times

Speaking of sparkling plays in CF, a pair of gems from Pete Crow-Armstrong last night, at spacious Coors Field no less. Cubs still wound up getting swept by the Rox.

I thought he wad going to be out -- and would have been with even a decent second throw -- but it was an aggressive and correct call (IMO) with two outs and the Squirrel running.

It's nice to see Vientos get that homer. The Mets stacked all these lefties into their lineup, but they went with him at DH when they might have otherwise gone with Vogelbach.

Thank you, Kase. when I accessed Baseball reference, it didn't give me the foreign option. Weird. Senga has pitched under 150 innings so far, but has pitched a similar number the last few years. It has ben a few years since he had 180 IP, so he may be OK without having to go on a six day rotation. Another question is, does Joey look like he should be part of the rotation next year? Later

It's not easy to find on bbrdotcom. I kinda backdoored into it using

Google instead. There's a menu item near the bottom of bbrdotcom

that says Minor, Foreign, College, & Black Baseball and then Nippon

Pro Baseball Stats but even that sends you to 2019 or something.
