Giants fire Gabe Kepler, presumably for his idiotic challenge at the end of the game of July 1 that kept me at Citi Field just long enough to make sure I'd miss my train at Woodside. Also for the Giants falling short of the playoffs, I guess.

That ends the perfect season, in which we were so close to going pole to pole without any managerial dismissals.
