Dunno, but whenever I see charts ranking anything or anyone by %, it's often the case that the leading contender makes the minimum G, PA, AB, IP etc by a hair.

the mets had the fewest caught stealings in the majors this year, at 15. the giants, who were caught 16 times, had only 57 stolen bases, less than half the mets' 118 steals. not bad, mets!

Broadly, yes. But more specifically, hitting better at situational level. I guess stealing more situationally is part of the equation, too.
