He played in only 28 games last year, all with the Padres' AAA affiliate. Wasn't bad though: .317/.356/.537

I like this one. He was a big prospect back in the day and though he's never been a superstar, he's been a pretty solid hitter. Defensively he's skilled.

Sounds like he would keep Joey Wendle looking over his shoulder from a suddenly not so steady 40 man roster spot.
