Beltran .5
Delgado .5
Wright .5
Nady 3
Traschel 2

Nady's ball had no business being caught and ina rain-shortened shutout that will get him a three from me.

Let me get this straight Nymr. Your methodology is to give no points for the two hitters who hit doubles, and to give 3 points to a guy who went 0 for 2 with an almost-double. Makes perfect sense.

Nady's ball was caught. It was a great play. Happens all the time. This ain't horseshoes and it ain't hand grenades.

in a game where the mets don't score yes i gave points to the guy who hit a ball that 99.9% of the time scores 3 runs. i probably wouldnt do this in a 5-4 game but if we arent going to hand out significant points in a loss then whats the damn point of this whole thing?
i liked it better when we mandated 10 points in every game btw.

Castro .75

(and that's it).

I think the switch to "as many or as few" points as you want is a good one. This game had basically nobody worthy of points. Giving out 3 or 4 or 5 points when nobody did crap devalues the times when players actually do help the team win.
