108 Regular Season Wins in 1986

Still a team record, and along with the 1998 Yankees the last two teams to go over the 105 mark and win the World Series Just wanted to say that with my 108th post Sure the rings say 116 for the 4 playoff wins, but 108 is such a nice round number!

It's amazing how some things from that time period (high school, most of the music that came out then) seem like a different lifetime ago, but that Mets team is still fresh in my memory. Inning 10 of game 6 seems like last night.
